Are you passionate about design? Do you love working on new dynamic brands?
We’re looking for a Jr. Visual Designer to help shape the future direction the Acquia brand by contributing to the design of our web site and other published products. Your work will tell the world who we are, what we do, and tell our customers how we can help them succeed.

We want an organized, detailed-oriented self-starter with experience in print and web. If your online portfolio demonstrates creativity, stellar typography, clean composition, communicative data visualizations, intelligent infographics, and clever web ads and pages, then apply today.

We’re immersed in the hottest technologies, we’ve helped companies of all shapes and sizes design, build, maintain and monitor their Drupal websites – and we’re one of Boston’s hottest start-ups. And we’re just warming up!

Responsibilities

Collaborate with marketing and design to establish objectives
Create print advertising and collateral, trade-show graphics and environmental design, presentations, infographics, web banner ads and HTML email campaigns
Mange Acquia brand assets and their distribution (Acquia brand website, Acquia brand standards manual)

Requirements

A passion for great design
Online portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of typography, composition, color theory for both print and Web
Experience managing design deliverables from concept to completion
Experience with Adobe’s creative suite
In-depth knowledge of PDF-to-press workflow (you will act as your own production department!)
Work on location at Acquia’s corporate office in Burlington, MA just north of Boston

Extra credit

Illustration skills
Knowledge of the Drupal content management system
Proficiency with Adobe Fireworks
Knowledge of current Web standards, e.g. HTML5, CSS3
Environmental design
