Senior Interactive Designer

Join a fun and fast paced Creative team as a Senior Interactive Designer to build out the brand identity of JewelMint - an exclusive affordable luxury jewelry brand designed by style icon Kate Bosworth. Partner with all stakeholders to create and contribute to JewelMint’s site and bring the user experience to the next level.

Responsibilities

Lead designer for the JewelMint.com website
Create experiences to engage shoppers, grow the brand identity, increase online sales and to incorporate user research into interactive designs
Create and evolve processes for moving designs through the project lifecycle, with a focus on meeting time-to-market demands
Conceptual layout, color schemes, and stay current with fashion trends
Ability to learn and apply new knowledge related to design and web industry
Proven ability to communicate design ideas visually and verbally, and qualify design decisions
Contribute to JewelMint’s blog vision and updates

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in graphic, interactive and multimedia design/or equivalent work experience
5+ years of web design in the fashion industry
2+ years of jewelry and luxury brands preferred
Superior knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS5, HTML
Extensive hands-on design experience with a retail eCommerce company or design agency
Experience developing brand identity
Ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables
Portfolio required
