Arline Malakian

Her particular background, having lived in different cities and working with noted fashion designers, celebrated publications and clients in Europe, the United States and Canada, gives her an understanding of people, different markets and  their psychology which in turn translates in visual branding.

As an image maker, her incessant quest for beauty leads her to explore it's core duality in a photographic expression in harmony with the inner and outer beauty. Her intuitive process of working, rooted in a mastery of technique and design, brings versatility and an overall ease when tackling different projects. Her ability to convey the mood through expert lighting and creative and evocative captures makes Malakian a celebrity in her field.

Arline acts as campaign manager for a number of leading Canadian fashion labels, including Alfred Sung Bridal, Franco Mirabelli- for its past few seasons- and White on White. Internationally, her commercial portfolio includes brands such as Silhouette eyewear, Natori, Harmony Phi, Todd Lynn, Cover F/X and Make-up For Ever.

A guest lecturer in the departments of fashion and photography at Ryerson and Humber College she shares her knowledge and fashion savvy with local designers and students alike behind the scenes. Her ever-present relationship with fashion and its pulse has her tentacles sewn to some of the hottest fashion trends and tendencies globally. Lucian Matis label is where she contributed her creativity  and production skills in the visual interpretations of the collections on the runway, look-books and ads.

Her fine art and personal work has been the subject of T.V. shows, auctions and exhibits.
