Born in Zell/Germany on may 17th, grown up with two brothers in a little village of german part/region called Hunsrück and now living near Dusseldorf/Germany.
Beeing creativ and playing around with makeup in his childhood, Holger Weins started working as a freelance makeup artist in the 90th in various fields like TV (Beautyexpert infront of the camera), Photoshootings, the Cosmetics Industry or as a Coach. The highlight at the beginning of his career was a 3-month assistantsjob to international Makeup Artist Kevyn Aucoin.
Holger still works with the principles of his idol and mentor.
To Holger working as a Makeup Artist is not only a Job but attitude.
Why "FACEDESIGNER?
It's simple ... "I see makeup as a supplementary garment. Thus, I design, every person I give a Makeup, her own piece of "Haute Couture" , and allow her to slip into a unique role, no matter how normal or extravagant the result is."
