Inspired by the images of the film characters created by Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, Liza Minnelli and Federico Fellini, I am trying to recreate retro-style personalities in my photographs. The characters are often wrapped in the shadows of mystery and cigarette smoke, living in the imposed perfect world, where words are replaced by facial expressions, the curve of the eyebrows, the shadow of the eyelashes and the dynamical furrowed faces.

I continually shoot people's faces with my eye, putting my own masks on them. I often don't even hear what they say, I merely analyze their manners to infinity.

In these images, I found their personalities, created their style and make-up, and directed the moment.
